The National School Chaplaincy Programme is a platform for educators to be equipped with resources to effectively minister
to young people’s needs in the school setting.
Over four years, chaplains will increasingly build their responsibilities within their sphere of influence, impacting the children around them through clubs in schools. Imagine a network around our country where we are able to help disciple the children of our nation in our schools. Imagine a world where we found the church in the schools and through godly teachers we raise a new standard!
Imagine a network of people where, through the use of technology – the internet, media and more, we are able to help deliver God’s timely message of Christ to the children of our nation. Discipling a nation of children who will help us bring a godly revolution to this land! This is the heart of the chaplaincy programme. The heart of the National School Chaplaincy Programme is to help disciple a nation of children who will help us bring a godly revolution to this land!
We are constantly developing and sourcing new resources / modules to make available to our educators and schools. These modules range from combating drug abuse, dealing with bereavement and grief, teenage pregnancy, bullying, to name but a few.
We salute the thousands of educators in Africa who impact lives every day!
“I live in an informal settlement. I have learned so much through this programme. I have just started with the Senior Chaplain module and am very excited. I teach Sunday school and use the material with the young ones I teach and then on Sunday afternoons I hold Bible studies for the children in my area. Many come and they love the material we use – Battlefield of the Mind for Kids is an AMAZING book and 17 Stories. They so enjoy the stories and discussions we have that they come back every week. Most of these children don’t attend church but are learning to know the Bible. The material Reaching a Generation has supplied me in Chaplaincy helps very much as I live in a very poverty stricken area. I also attended the Chaplaincy Enrichment and was so blessed by Dr Sam Ndoga and by the love and fellowship of fellow chaplains and the staff of Reaching a Generation. I thank the Lord for the lovely study Bible I received as a prize – it will enrich my life even further. Thank you Reaching a Generation for this wonderful programme. ” Setyenzwa Makibi - Bekkersdal
